I love movies and I love to talk about movies. Someday I would like to write and maybe even direct a film or two. Since I am not educated in either, I thought I would start somewhere, I chose writing.

I took on a little project for myself after being inpired by Julie Powell. I will be watching practically every movie released in the United Stated in 2009, over 90% of them. Hopefully, I can do this in about a year. I plan to watch 3 or 4 a week. Afterwards I'll post a review of the movie on my blog, http://www.reviewit2009.wordpress.com. The goal, to improve my writing and inspire my creativity. I also hope to inform some people and perhaps even help some with their movie choices.

I welcome comments, ideas, or rants. I hope you enjoy it as much as I will enjoy this little project.
