Sheffy

I never thought I'd want to watch Sheffey. It looked like a boring old fashioned film, until my Dad viewed it and told me that it had its good points. So last night, we sat down and braved it. It was made in 1977, and was 2 hours and 17 minutes long. We had also been told that the ending was sad....not exciting. When I finally started watching it, despite its old effects and bad camera angles, I begin to love the story.

Robert Sheffey was a young man living with his rich Aunt, and searching for something more then his life of foolish play. He would have given up hope if it had not been for a chance meet with God at a revival meeting. After that, his life changed for the better. He became a travling preacher.

Sheffeys character is extremely likeable, and you won't want to shut it off till you've seen his whole life. I must admit, their was a sad part, but it is not an altogether despressing movie. It is in fact wrapped up beautifullly.

So If you think that Sheffey is a boring movie, think again. Check it out.
