Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare

I'm not sure if it's the sickness talking or what, but this is my least favorite out of the whole series. I think it's ridiculous. Did you hear me Rachel Tallalay? RIDICULOUS! And that coming from a series that has had some really foolish things go down in it. Come on!

Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare is about the last boy of Springfield who gets caught up by Freddy and brings more teenagers into the Dream World, but he also brings Freddy's daughter who was taken away from him. I'm not really sure what he wants with his daughter, and there's this 3D glasses thing going on and some three Dream Gods, but it really doesn't make a whole heck of a lot of sense.

There's not really that much to say about this movie. It's NOT scary, the timing is way off, there is too much repetition, ROSEANNE BARR and TOM ARNOLD are both in it (!!! what the hell? !!!), and there's too much going on that doesn't mean jack at the end.

We don't care about the characters. We don't want to see a dude falling in the air from a plane 5 times in one movie. Why the 3D glasses? I don't even understand what that means. How can this work, because where did this last boy come from? It would have made more sense if the guy was Alice's baby, but for some reason it's just some dude who is the last teenager from Elm Street.

The opening shot is ridiculous, with a map and Springwood, Ohio shown, and writing on it that claims there are no more children and all parents have gone crazy. It makes no difference to us because they don't really do anything. There are so many different parts to the plot that have no use in the storyline, it's amazing that this is coherent. Wait... it's not. We can get the gist that the kids are getting killed because of the John Doe character, but why? Oh, so Freddy can get his daughter back. But for what? Wait, this doesn't make any sense.

Creativity is flushed right down the drain. The video game scene makes me want to just chuck the disc out the window. There are so many ridiculous scenes in the movie that I wanted to go to sleep instead of watching this movie. I was sick and had a sore throat, and would much rather have gotten some sleep than stayed up til midnight watching this stinker. It's barely any fun.
