Now I am a nerd through and through, but back in the days that this movie was made, it was actually considered a bad thing to be a nerd, nowadays people treat you better than mechanics because you know a bunch of stuff about the things they use on a daily basis. We finally get our revenge upon the damned idiots. Kinda like this movie.

Basically 2 nerds go to college, the best college for computers anyways and end up getting pushed over by the jocks of the Alpha Beta frat house. The damned idiots burn down their house and they force the entire freshman class out of the dorms and they take it over. I don’t wish to give away all of the plot, but this just sets it up.

Now even though the focus of the movie is on the nerds, I was cheering for them from the get go. Of course they win in the end, but c’mon it’s all about how you get to the ending. Some of the things they do are so awesome it goes beyond words. Like when the sorority houses and the frat houses start picking on them, they get their revenge by doing a panty raid, but the raid itself was not the revenge, they actually set up cameras in the sorority houses so that they could film all of the girls. And later takes that film for an eve more devious purpose which I cannot say without one of the biggest laugh I have had in a while.

Now even though this movie focuses on the nerds, it does not ever forget that it’s about frat/sorority houses. I usually despise these movies since they are all usually the same damned thing. Even so, this one if pretty bad about it, but since there are nerds occupying one of the houses, it all seems to balance out. But you never ever forget that the movie is about college kids, which can be rather annoying.

But oh god the ending, the ending had me rolling, cheering and gleeful for a long while after it happened. I fucking can’t believe that I never saw this movie as a kid because its soooo awesome I am in shock that I never saw it.
