Feast II: Sloppy Seconds

“Feast” was one of the craziest, most over-the-top fun, all out films I’ve seen in a while. Thank the gods for Rodriguez & Tarantino and their “Grindhouse” project. If it weren’t for them the awesome exploitation genre would never have been revived. It took me a while to watch the sequel, even I don’t know why I was putting it off for so long.

“Feast II: Sloppy Seconds” picks up directly after the end of the first part. Biker Queen and her gang arrive to the infamous bar where Bozo and the other made their last stand. She seeks revenge for her dead sister - Harley Mom, the one that has been orally raped by a monster and blown to pieces as a diversion so the others could get away. Well, they make it to the neighboring town which has been invaded by the same monsters, so the Biker bitches and the locals have to work together to save their asses.

“Feast” blew me away. It was that good, yeah. So naturally, I had very high expectations out of this one. Because of that, “Sloppy Seconds” has been a slight disappointment. It just doesn’t have that originality and the charm the first part had. But that’s not because part 2 is bad, it’s because part 1 was so damn awesome. There’s definitely less action here, and the characters are not that cool & awesome. They are a merry bunch, nevertheless. We’ve got the surviving Bartender and Honey Pie from part 1. Then Lightning &Thunder, two midget professional wrestlers and keymakers, the Hobo - Bozo’s uncle, Slasher and Greg - a car dealing shop owners, Slasher’s wife - Secrets, Biker Queen and her lesbo gang, among some others. As you can see, you won’t get bored around them.

Generally, I would’ve given it a slightly lower score. But some scenes are fucking legendary (and sick). I won’t spoil any of them here, but believe me… there’s plenty of “Holy shit!” in “Sloppy Seconds”.

Oh, and the musical score rocked, too.

For the fans of “Feast” – a must see. For trash horror fans in general – recommended. Now all we have to do is wait for the final installment of the trilogy – “Happy Finish” – coming soon.
