Fantastic even! Genre: Action Adventure Family Comedy Fantasy Sci-Fi Animation Starring: Craig T. Nelson (The Family Stone; "Coach"), Holly Hunter (The Piano; Crash), Directed By: Brad Bird (The Iron Giant) Overview: With the good old days of Superherodom behind him, Mr. Incredible find new adventures when an archnemesis intervenes. Performance: I particularly enjoyed Samuel L. Jackson's voice acting in this one, especially his dialogue with his wife about where his suit is. This was great. Pixar really knows how to pick 'em. Rating: 8 Cinematography: The animation is as expected: amazing and detailed with impressive setting and dramatic explosions and stunts. A really nice show indeed. Pixar's animators have nothing to worry about when it comes to job security. Rating: 9 Script: Well written, well delivered, great motive by the bad guy, nice comedic moments, funny when it has to be, poignant (in a light kids movie kind of way) when it comes to the tougher moments....

The first of two Pixar films robbed of an Oscar nomination for best picture. THE DARK KNIGHT may be the granddaddy of superhero films (as I myself called it) but THE INCREDIBLES is it’s grand-father’s father’s daddy.

So what? We had a Pixar day and sat down to watch a bunch of Pixar Movies. It was way more than I was expecting, but it was a day full of awesomeness. Now the first time I saw this I was not impressed with it. I was in my “WTF? This isn’t a real comic book super hero thing! They are just ripping off all the good heroes!” phase. It all made it seem like if there were actually super heroes in the world; this was exactly what would happen to them. Not exactly like the X-Men but close enough to see that they based the idea of the movie off of it. The other thing that got to me was how well all of the family members used their powers together. It was amazing really. Every time they did something together it was more awesome than the last time. I also like how in depth they went into each...
