The Incredible Hulk is a 2008 film which is adopted on the Marvel Comics Hulk. It starred by Edward Norton as Dr. Bruce Banner / the Hulk and directed by Louis Leterrier. It is not a sequel to Hulk (2003) film.

The Incredible Hulk detailed the events after the Gamma Bomb. It tell's the story of Dr. Bruse Banner, who seeks a cure to his extraordinary condition, which causes him to become a giant green monster when he feels emotional stress. On the run, he attempts to cure himself of the Hulk before he is captured by General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross, but his worst fears are realized when power-hungry soldier Emil Blonsky becomes the Abomination.

I rate this movie 9/10. Compared to the 2003 movie, The Incredible Hulk is quite better because the movie got more detail and more action. The movie is generally favorable and I would recommend having this Hulk movie.

"The Incredible Hulk"-Entertaining As It Should Be

The Incredible Hulk is one of my favorite comic book characters for several reasons.  First, next to Superman, the Hulk was one of my fave comics as a child.  Second, I loved Bill Bixby and the TV series.  Third, I have a temper my own self, this without ever being subjected to gamma rays, and I understand the feeling of anger rising up within me to a point that had I been exposed to the gamma rays my clothes would rip from my body as animal growls escape from my throat.
 
Of course I’m not proud of this.
 
 
Edward Norton, you gotta wonder, who the hell is he?  He did play a passable Hulk.  Tim Roth, who is now on that show that has him ascertaining truth from lies, played the obsessed Emil Blonsky, who became, intriguingly, the other Hulk.
 
Well of course the two Hulks have to fight each other else why have them?
 
The original Hulk and his more normal human self spend much of the movie trying to escape from an army and government desperately trying to find him and study his transformation.  The footage of Norton in various countries, his secret communication with a biologists claiming he could heal him, his return home and meeting with his love, Elizabeth Ross, begin the movie and it’s fine filming, well-rounded and captures attention and provides a background.
 
The movie begins its climb to a climax of a confrontation with the other Hulk fellow as you had to know was coming.  Along the way Norton turns into a Hulk a time or two, mostly when his beloved Elizabeth is threatened.
 
Hey, it’s a good movie.  It’s not filled with insightful facts of life nor is that the intent.  I thought I’d long gone past the age where these sorts of movies would capture my fancy.  For fans of super heros of past years, youngsters and adolescents who like this sort of action movie, this is a great film to watch.

the increble hulk

The incredible hulk is incredible.  It is really good.  How could I forget how wonderful Liv Tyler is?  She is amazing.  She also looks pretty good.

This one is far, far, immeasurably better than the last one they made with what’s his name?  Played Hector in the crappy movie with Brad Pitt as Achilles?  He’s also in Munich, which is very good…Eric Bana, yeah.  The one where he was the Hulk was terrible.  Although Jennifer Conley is worth the price of most admissions…

I mean, what’s the last bad movie you saw with Ed Norton?  Or Tim Roth?  Guys like that tend to pick pretty good scripts.  A good script and a dump truck full of twenties…

I also saw Kung Fu Panda.  It was chocked full of awesomeness.  That’s really all you need to know.  It was even more awesome because I saw it on IMAX.  IMAX is awesome.  Not sure it’s worth friggin’ eleven bucks a ticket…but it is awesome.

David Cross as Crane was pretty funny, but when I heard his voice I just had trouble picturing a bad ass kung fu master.  Didn’t even recognize Angelina Jolie as Tigress.  Or Jackie Chan as Monkey for that matter.

But it is hilarious.  Big fat panda kick major ass.

Basic Premise:

Bruce Banner is on the run from the government who wants to bring him back and use his body to create the ultimate super soldiers. In a bid to bring him in, the government creates yet another monster that's even worse than him and now he has to stop it.

Tidbits:

- You don't have to stay until the end of the credits. There's nothing there but the Marvel logo.
- Iron Man is NOT in the movie, however Tony Stark is.
- This is NOT a sequel to the Hulk movie released in 2003. They started the entire storyline over with a montage beginning to explain his origins.

Review:

For those people going to this movie expecting to see non-stop action from beginning to end with huge explosions and large, heavy machinery being tossed at military types, you're in a for a rude awakening. I hate to tell you, but this movie has a plot. :) Make no mistake, there is action but it makes up one-third of the movie, possibly a little bit more.

I laughed, I gasped, I winced, and I wouldn't mind seeing it again. Edward Norton makes a good Bruce Banner, so much better than Eric Bana. I'm still out on Liv Tyler's rendition of Betty Ross as compared to Jennifer Connelly.

Hulk was portrayed a whole lot better in this and the storyline was much, MUCH closer to the comics. There was still some artistic license but I enjoyed the movie. I'm glad Marvel is finely taking a bigger interest in their movies and making sure they're done accurately (closer to the original comic).

But the true test of the movie's authenticity (for me) is my husbands opinion. Since he's kept up with the Hulk comics more so than me, I asked what he thought. His one and only complaint was that the movie makers changed the way Abomination is supposed to look. Other than that, he feels as I do -- good movie.

The Incredible Hulk

Now I always thought Ang Lee was a great director but I remembered when he made Hulk, man I wanted to slap that Chinese man silly.



On the other hand, this is what a Hulk movie should be. See when it comes to comic book movies, sure we gotta have emotions and character development but too much emo stuff is boring. We gotta have some action man, we gotta have cars blowing up, buildings collapsing and shit. The Incredible Hulk is one heck of a movie that makes me forget all about that turd Ang Lee made a few years back. And though it's not as great as Iron Man, I till enjoyed this film a lot.



So The Incredible Hulk is about Bruce Banner played by Edward Norton who's this scientist that accidentally becomes poisoned with Gamma radiations when an experiment goes bad. Whenever his heart rate reaches a high level, the little scrawny man turns into one bad ass green wonder. The film sets he Hulk story very much in today's world encompassing the military into the plot which opens up the movie to a possibility of an Avengers franchise.



But let's not look to far out just yet. Let's just talk about this kick ass movie. So the first thing that I really loved about Hulk was Edward Norton who plays Bruce Banner. There is simply nothing this guy can't do. I mean, he did Fight Club, he was King Benedict and now he lays a big green guy and he's absolutely kick ass.



He really fits the character of what Bruce Banner should be. Not the muscular Eric Bana in the last film, Bruce Bane is first and foremost.. an ordinary scientist who is always more brains than brawn who gets thrust into this world of violence when he get's his power. He is scared. For himself and of himself and what he could do to the people around him. Edward Norton plays that brilliantly and I identified with his Banner much more than Eric Bana's.



What's also great about this film is that the director was smart in making the decision to edit this movie into s sort of manhunt film. Throughout the movie,we're following Bruce Banner as he is trying to outsmart the military and stay under the radar while he works on a formula to cure his disease. We're tense through most of the film thinking, "Is he gonna escape?" or "Will they catch him?"



The series borrows the premise of the Bourne films in a way where we get some really great action and chase scenes and then the movie stops for a moment of plot development and goes back into more action scenes. The film is tight, it's fast paced and it's fruckin entertainment galore!



The second best performance in this was Tim muthafuckin Roth baby! For a dude that's verging on 50, he's still one bad ass. He plays some sort of super soldier who isn't afraid of the Hulk but fascinated at it's power and goes to great lengths to achieve that same power which of course leads to him becoming The Abomination. The fight scene between Hulk and Abomination is great. It's kind of like Transformers where there is so much stuff going on you can't hardly catch you're breath.



But what I hated was Tim Blake Nelson as this bumbling wise-cracking professor who is really just there to be the comic relief of the film. Now, I loved the guy in O Brother,Where Art Thou but he was downright annoying here. Right where the movie is about to reach it's action packed climax, we get this guy who's practically falling over himself and acting like a total foo. He was playing the exact same character from O Brother. Cant the dude do anything else than just being silly Hill-Billie type of characters?



And do watch out for the Robert Downey Jr. cameo at the end. With something like that,you can bet you're life there's going to be an Avengers movie somewhere down the line. And if they can keep up this streak of fantastic origin stories with Thor, Ant-Man and Captain America.. The Avengers movie is going to be epicness.



So overall The Incredible Hulk is great. Their setting everything up nicely for the real big cheese and I can't wait for that to happen!

Two directors sit down for coffee. One is Ang Lee, a quiet, affable director of art-house fare and family dramas. The other is Louis Leterrier, a confident, all-smiling, Gallic Brett Ratner; director of action extravaganzas. They have met to discuss how they might approach a movie based on the Marvel Comics character The Incredible Hulk.

Ang sees it as an oedipal drama.

Louis tells him he’s over-thinking things.

Ang says: No Hulk for at least an hour

Louis says: This ain’t The Ice Storm, Ang

But Ang’s convinced. He’s made a quiet, contemplative kung-fu movie into a hit. Why change a winning formula? You take pulp subject matter and you slow it down, work on the subtext. The Incredible Hulkdoesn’t seem to have a subtext, but that’s because no-one’s looked for it before. Look at X-Men. Classic gay parable! Hulk is just an American means of dealing with the Oedipus myth. The big green monster is a visual representation of…

Louis loses track. He’s watching a cute waitress wiggle across the room.

Ang, he thinks, Ang… You’ve gotta start with a chase. Hulk on the run! Pursued by army guys! With sonic cannons! The whole key to The Incredible Hulk is that he’s big, green and pissed off at everybody. Just give him someone to be pissed off at. Throw in a pretty girl, some nice location photography… People don’t walk out of The Incredible Hulksaying: I wish they’d focused more on the oedipal drama. They walk out saying: he should’ve smashed more shit up.

Ang wants Eric Bana for the lead. He’s seen him in Chopper. He likes the rage. Bana looks like he should be playing lieutenants in Mafia movies. But he’s vulnerable with it (like he’d cry after whacking somebody).

For The Girl, he figures: Jennifer Connelly. She always plays The Girl, but Serious (like every Girl was Golda Meir). She isn’t the brunette with the big boobs from The Rocketeer anymore. She’s the brunette with no boobs from A Beautiful Mind.

Louis agrees with some of this. He wants similar types. Edward Norton has Bana’s anger, if not his bulk (plus he’s cheap) and Liv Tyler looks a lot like Connelly. The dynamic of the two hot scientists in love works forHulk (look at what the love story did for Spiderman’s grosses) and besides, he needs to have something in-between chase scenes and special effects shots.

Ang wanders on about the giant poodles he feels are integral to his story-line and the ending that’ll rest on a giant implosion (“It’ll totally subvert audience expectations!”). But Louis knows an art-house guy doesn’t know beans about CGI. If your Hulk looks shit, you’re sunk, thinks the Frenchman. He plans to wait a few years until the effects look right. He’s also going to put in a proper villain (none of this oedipal wrangling for Louis’ Hulk). It’ll be one big green monster versus another big green monster, and more smashed cars than you can shake a stick at.

What’s next after Hulk? he asks Ang.

Gay cowboys, says Ang.

It’s what Louis figured.

And for you? asks Ang.

Hulk 2, says Louis. Remember that girl with two guns and a bikini fromTransporter 2?

Ang shrugs (though he’s seen it).

It’ll be like that, says Louis. With Liv. But no bikini.

FILM REVIEW: After Ang Lee’s arthouse 2003 film “Hulk”, the franchise did not look in good shape with that first film not offering the fans or the general public an accessible entry point to the saga of the Incredible Hulk. Now with a new director, cast and production team, “The Incredible Hulk” surfaces as a more rousing action adventure that manages to satisfy on many levels but suffers from being a sequel that is trying to simultaneously reboot the franchise but continue the story at the same time without re-telling the back story. As a result, the film at times feels like it is only a collection of amazing action sequences. The film does have heart, largely carried through the performances of Edward Norton and Liv Tyler, but it is not enough, making this film fun to watch but ultimately shallow overall.
The film opens with a very good looking title sequence which tells Bruce Banner’s back-story through images as he becomes the Hulk. The plot then moves to Brazil where Banner is busy trying to find a cure to his condition while simultaneously keeping a low profile. All goes pear-shaped when a sample of his blood accidentally ends up in a soft drink bottle at the factory he is working and an American citizen (played by Marvel veteran Stan Lee) drinks the liquid and is exposed to the radiation that made Hulk who he is. Before long the Army, led by General Ross (a possibly mis-cast William Hurt), track him down and the story becomes a battle between Hulk and those who wish to either steal his power or want to destroy him.
Much of what works in this film lies in the visuals, the effects and the action sequences. Unlike the previous film, Hulk looks much more real and has been rendered with a level of detail that is worthy of the big screen cinematic treatment. The action sequences are first rate, particularly in the finale when the Hulk battles the Abomination across Harlem in New York City, destroying just about everything in their path.
Edward Norton and Liv Tyler work extremely well in their characters, delivering very sympathetic and three-dimensional performances in an environment that could have easily been more bland given the comic-book nature of the film. Tim Roth is also great as Blonsky, the Russian agent who becomes the Abomination. A disappointing let down is William Hurt, who just does not seem tough enough in his role as General Ross, however this may be more a case of mis-casting rather than anything else.
The film is unfortunately caught in the nether-world of being both a sequel and a reboot. Ang Lee’s “Hulk” was clearly not going to get a sequel, so this film had to serve as a very different take on the character and the comic book. However, it is also a sequel in that we do not get the origin story of Hulk as that was told in the previous film. Since we do not see Edward Norton as Banner go through this story, it is hard to get in to this plight as in this film he is on the run from the get go, giving us no way in to his character or his story. As a result, the narrative lacks depth and feels shallow.
“The Incredible Hulk” is a fun comic book movie that will entertain with its action sequences, but feels somewhat shallow.

TECHNICAL REVIEW: The film has been given a stellar video transfer, with perfectly clear images of great colour, richness and vibrance. The audio transfer is likewise equally impressive, making full use of the surrounds and will make your home theatre rumble in the big action sequences. Overall, an excellent transfer.

EXTRAS REVIEW: Given this is only a single disc edition DVD, the extras package is nothing short of first-rate, providing extensive material and featurettes on the making of the film that serve as a perfect complement to the main feature. The audio commentary from director Louis Letterier and actor Tim Roth provies excellent insight in to the production, as well as being a lot of fun to listen to as both bounce off each other, remembering their time making the film and the effort required by all to put certain sequences together. The making-of documentary lasts for thirty minutes and features excellent behind the scenes material and cast-crew interviews which provide an honest and extensive insight in to the production. Three other featurettes focus on the creation of the Hulk, the Abomination, and a sequence from one of the original comics which served as the inspiration for the Betty/Hulk night cliff sequence. There are also six deleted scenes and an alternate opening sequence. Overall, this is an extensive and thorough collection of extras for a single disc edition DVD.

BOTTOM LINE: Rent it.

THE INCREDIBLE HULK (2008)

BOTTOM LINE: It's a good, solid, comic book, action film that delivers on the thrills of the famous big green angry giant, but it's too fast, noisy and shallow; more time spent on story, pacing and character would have made this as good as its Marvel counterpart, Iron Man.

THE GOOD: Most of us should be familiar with the character of "Hulk" from the old television series, and this film harkens back to the spirit of that era, but most importantly to the original comics. Ang Lee's character driven version of Hulk didn't deliver the action that this film does, and it's spectacular, particularly in the climax when Hulk is fighting against the nasty Abomination. The CG rendering of Hulk is flawless, with some great expressions in his face, and he is truly incredible with the strength, agility and movement that are displayed in numerous sequences throughout the film. Edward Norton fits amicably in to the role of Bruce Banner, the everyman on the run from the US Army who want his power to develop the ultimate weapon. Liv Tyler is also good as love interest Dr Elizabeth Ross. This film moves very quickly, following the chase-movie template with Banner trying to outrun General Ross (William Hurt) and his army so that he can find a cure for his 'green' condition. And stealing the show is a cameo by Iron Man Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr) in the final scene of the film which is clearly designed to open up a new realm of possible sequel spin-offs.

THE BAD: It's clear that the filmmakers wanted to go in the opposite direction to Ang Lee's 2003 version of Hulk, but this is not to the film's advantage as they go too far, solely delivering an action spectacular without much depth. The opening sequences which introduce us to Bruce Banner don't really give us a window in to the plight of his character being on the run; a shame really as Edward Norton's acting talents are for the most part never utilised because all he's doing is either running away from bad guys or having the "I miss Elizabeth" look on his face. Without that setup, the rest of the film falls flat from a character perspective. William Hurt is miscast in the role of General Ross; the character looked to demand a toughness which was missing from his performance. The creation of the Abomination, although great for the dramatics because he's a nasty piece of work that Hulk has to fight, is ultimately a sloppy sequence, put together in a very arbitrary, 2-dimensional way. The character of "Mr Blue" who first tries to help Hulk, but then ends up creating the Abomination willingly, is ludicrous, just like the portrayal of his character. All of this comes together to make a film that is an action spectacular that lacks character, and it's only really our knowledge of the Hulk character and what he's fighting against that make the journey worthwhile.

What’s a Hulk movie review without comparisons to Ang Lee’s version? Now I know why Lee’s was simply named “Hulk” whereas the 2008 one is “Incredible”. The reason is simple: Lee’s version was not incredible. That does not necessary mean it is a bad thing. Let us talk about Louis Leterrier direction first. The plot is reasonable, building up moments and reasons for explosive action scenes to be executed. The Hulk looks less realistic than of Lee’s version here. At least the action scenes are more exciting. Edward Norton, if you ask me, lacks the acting charisma that Eric Bana has. Jennifer Connelly, being my number three favorite girl of all time, wins hands down as the Bestest Betty Ross ever portrayed. I still like Liv Tyler, FYI. Tim Roth did an excellent maniacal portrayal of the power hungry Abomination which is really the highlight of the film. To sum it all up, Leterrier’s version is all about the action whereas Lee’s all about the emotion. Which one do I prefer more? Lee’s of course. It has more aesthetic values than all of Letterier’s movies combined. The only thing I did not like was all the crying. Bana, Connelly, Elliot, CGI Hulk and even some of the helicopter pilots. They all cried.

The Incredible Hulk

Riding hard on the coat-tails of Iron Man is Marvel's next superhero adventure, The Incredible Hulk. To clear up any discrepancies you may have about whether this film is a remake of or a sequel to Ang Lee's 2003 Hulk, it is neither. The Incredible Hulk is simply a "revisiting" to the character with a different approach. In other words, the first movie sucked, so they started over. The new film finds Bruce Banner (Edward Norton), a once leading scientist on the run in Brazil five years after he was exposed to the gamma rays that gave him his incredible abilities. He is being chased by General Ross (William Hurt), the man who inadvertently caused Banner's change while trying to create a new weapon for the army. When Ross finally tracks down Banner, he enlists the help of decorated soldier Emil Blonsky (Tim Roth) to bring him in. When Blonsky witnesses the Hulk's power first-hand, he volunteers himself to undergo a procedure much like Banner did, only with a controlled dose. Meanwhile, in the search for a cure, Banner finds his way back to the States where he is reunited with the love of his life Betty Ross (Liv Tyler). The two meet up with Banner's internet pen pal Dr. Samuel Sterns (Tim Blake Nelson), who has been working tirelessly to come up with a cure. But the army is hot on Banner's tail, and they finally capture him after years of pursuit. While this is happening, Blonsky becomes obsessed with becoming a super soldier, and forces Sterns to make him into a creature much like the Hulk. From this, the Abomination is born. Banner must now become the Hulk in order to save the city from destruction.

I must admit that in my personal opinion, the Hulk is the least interesting superhero from both the Marvel and DC universes. The idea of having a superhero who's main enemy is himself is far from, well, incredible. But even with this mentality, I was able to thoroughly enjoy The Incredible Hulk for what it was. A major reason this film works is Edward Norton. Much like Robert Downey Jr. represented billionaire playboy Tony Stark in a believable fashion, Norton convincingly plays scientist Bruce Banner. Whoever is in charge of casting for Marvel movie heroes should get a promotion. However, his performance was far from outstanding, as I was hoping to see a little bit more from him. I do not feel he properly acknowledged the potential that his character had. Even so, he was able to keep an air of suspense present throughout the film and his performance felt authentic. Although his performance was very good, it did seem magnificent compared to the complete and utter disaster that was Liv Tyler's Betty Ross. Emotionless, uninvolving, annoying, laughable at the wrong times: these are just a few ways to describe her performance. I would not be surprised if her name appears on the Razzie ballot for Worst Actress. Luckily enough for Tyler, she was surrounded by enough talent in Norton and William Hurt to save basically every scene she appeared in. Hurt plays her army general father Thaddeus Ross, and he did a very believable job of it. He played it with the gruff attitude and stern demeanor that a General would need, especially in periods of distress. Hurt is also accompanied by one of the greatest mustaches I've seen in recent movie history. I think it is accurate to say that William Hurt's mustache provided more entertainment by doing nothing than Liv Tyler did by "acting". The role of Emil Blonsky was very well cast, as Tim Roth did a terrific job with the part. Even though the Abomination isn't the coolest villain around, the character of Blonsky was very interesting to watch, and I sensed that Roth really became this role. At no point did I feel that Roth wasn't trying his hardest to achieve the best results from Blonsky. Tim Blake Nelson plays the eccentric Dr. Samuel Sterns and pretty much does his job. He acts eccentrically. In this film Nelson's role was pretty minor, but if there is a sequel he will be a crucial character.

The Incredible Hulk was directed by Louis Leterrier, who had previously helmed Transporter 2. With that under his belt, it makes sense that the action sequences in The Incredible Hulk were remarkable. There is something about watching two giant blobs of CGI (Hulk and Abomination) hurl cars at each other that is simply awe inspiring. By calling them "two giant blobs of CGI" I do not intend to insult the film, because it really did look fantastic. I only call them that because, well, they are two giant blobs of CGI. But Letterier's direction was very much a mixed bag. Some scenes were shot with such beauty and professionalism that I would be floored with astonishment. But then other scenes would be so cheesy and amateurish that I would shift uncomfortably in my seat thinking "Ouch, that was awkward". Letterier also did something which I cannot stand, and that is overuse dramatic rain sequences. At most, a film could have two dramatic rain sequences, but they MUST be at least 45 minutes apart. Letterier brought us two in a matter of 15 minutes. Yes he can film one hell of an incredible action scene, but the man cannot do serious very well.

A major reason I enjoyed The Incredible Hulk was it's pace. I should also credit director Louis Letterier with an ability to keep a film alive, not allowing it to sag any more than it should at any given time. At just under 2 hours, the time seems to fly by as the story unfolds so steadily you'll find yourself in disbelief that you are already watching the final battle (much like I was). It was said that over 70 minutes of footage was cut from The Incredible Hulk, and thank goodness it was. The 114 minutes in the final print were entertainment enough, we don't need a 3+ hour epic. In the version sent to theaters, every scene had a purpose and no of them were dull. Keep your 70 minutes, we don't want them.

When it comes down to it, the Hulk is the lamest of the superheroes, but this film certainly makes him seem more interesting than he is. Some very good performances and some great directing (50% of the time) really make The Incredible Hulk worth a watch. The dialogue at times is choppy and contrived, but I found myself overlooking that fact. Not without its fair share of flaws, The Incredible Hulk is still a fun summer film with intense action sequences that aren't too dizzying or incomprehensive (::cough:: Spiderman 3 ::cough::). Marvel, you are 2 for 2. My rating (7/10)

Oh, and if you were as excited as I was about the after the credits scene of Iron Man, you're going to love the final two lines of this film. (There is no after credits scene, I figure I'll save you 10 minutes)

The Incredible Hulk

Hulk was an alright film, but The Incredible Hulk was leaps and bounds above it. That’s not to say that it isn’t without its flaws, though, and there are parts of Hulk that I liked, but this one was just more enjoyable and not so cerebral.
Edward Norton takes over the role as Bruce Banner/Hulk and for the most part does a decent job. I really like how he actually brought some life to Bruce Banner, something that Eric Bana didn’t do, but that may be because he had better material to work with.
Liv Tyler is beautiful as always, although she doesn’t get much to work with here other than just being eye candy, but that’s typical Betty.
William Hurt is a downgrade from Sam Elliott as General Ross. I’m sorry for all of you out there that are deluded in thinking he did better. Sam Elliot just worked better. Hurt seemed out of place.
Tim Roth was surprisingly good as Emil Blonsky. I was impressed.
I really like how this film made some simple homages to the TV series, such as playing the walking music near the beginning and having Lou Ferrigno voice the Hulk.
The scene where Banner and Betty are getting all hot and heavy and then have to stop because he can’t get too excited was just awkward. I’m not sure if it was because of the situation or because we all wanted to see more of Liv Tyler, or because it didn’t seem to fit.
Hulk looked pretty good, but for me, I prefer the previous version. I realize they were going for a more “realistic” look and all, but not everything has to be so damn real. Also, that Hulk grew as he got madder, this one stayed the same size throughout the whole film. Also, watching him walk was a bit funny. It looked like he clonking around with shovels on his feet or something.
There are two characters that were alluded to and we may see if a sequel is ever greenlit. Doc Sampson and the Leader, not to mention the groundwork for the forthcoming Avengers  film.
A beef I have with this film is the final fight scene. It seemed like a mix between the final fight in Iron Man and Transformers. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, just wish they would have thought of something more original.
Yes, in case you can’t tell, I really liked this film. It’s not perfect by any means, but it was very enjoyable, unlike its predecessor which almost bored me to tears. There’s plenty of action, no unnecessary scientific mumbo jumbo (although with Hulk, it is expected), and the pace moves along quite nicely. You’ll really enjoy this film, and all but forget about that other version.
