Poker is a very fun game that involves skill and luck as well. My favorite type is the Texas Holdem and occasionally I play Omaha as well...like a great poker player once said, all you need is a chip and chair and you’re ready to play some cards.
The World Series of Poker is the main event of poker. People from all countries pay their finest money to participate in this great event. Now, Activision brings us this same event but not for a 10,000$ entry fee, but for a bit less and with a whole lot of fun.
This is a great game. Aside from a few glitches here and there with the graphics, you can actually feel you’re in Vegas and other casinos out there playing with the pros themselves. The commentary is nice and funny and everything feels authentic.
The storyline is simple as you create yourself a new player and start the new year of poker, trying to win money and become the world champion in the main event.
There are different type of games you can play as in the real world like playing tournaments and hoping to get into the bubble and win some money as well as earning some points to this poker year, trying to become player of the year. Also, you have the cash games where you play for cash and there the game is different. Only first place wins the money so use your cards wisely. The graphics is great. The players actually look like themselves in real life so the feeling like I said
before is playing against the pros. It’s a good training game as well I think and all in all this is a really fun game with one goal in mind – become the champion and a known poker player. After this, maybe you’ll try your luck against the same pros in real life, who knows…so get your chip and your chair, it’s poker time!
